Dear Burbank Family, I hope you enjoyed last week’s topic that focused on tips for supporting your child with their reading. This week’s topic is supporting your child’s learning process through learning by doing. Learning by doing can start with chores at home and watching the adults in their lives. Remember, kids are always watching! Teaching your child a positive way to contribute to the household can teach responsibility and awareness of others. This can also help teach your child awareness of others. Responsibility and awareness of others at school is important for your child’s development and learning process. Successfully applying responsibility and awareness at school contribute to your child completing in class assignments in a timely manner, turning in homework on time, respecting teachers and staff, and creating friendships with other children around them. I hope you enjoy using these tips this weekend! Below are some videos that you may find helpful in supporting your child with their learning by doing.
